How to Use the Artillery® X2 3D Printer Kit

For Beginners

Step 1: Unboxing

1. Remove the printer from the packaging.
2. Check that all the included items are present.
3. Place the printer on a stable surface.

Step 2: Assembly

1. Connect the power cable to the printer and plug it into a power outlet (choose the appropriate plug based on your region).
2. Attach the filament holder and load the desired filament into the printer.
3. Turn on the printer and wait for it to initialize.

Step 3: Leveling the Print Bed

1. Access the printer’s menu on the TFT touch screen.
2. Select the “Bed Leveling” option.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust the print bed.

Step 4: Preparing the Print

1. Connect the printer to your computer using the USB cable.
2. Download the appropriate slicing software to prepare your 3D model for printing.
3. Import your 3D model into the slicing software and configure the desired print settings.
4. Generate the G-code for your print and save it to the USB disk included with the printer.

Step 5: Printing

1. Insert the USB disk into the printer’s USB port.
2. Access the printer’s menu on the TFT touch screen.
3. Select the “Print” option.
4. Browse the USB disk and locate the G-code file you saved.
5. Select the file and follow the on-screen instructions to start the print.

Step 6: Monitor and Troubleshoot

1. During the print, monitor the progress on the TFT touch screen.
2. If any issues occur (e.g., filament runout or power loss), follow the on-screen prompts to resolve them.
