How to Use Y15 Car DVR Dash Cam
Step 1: Mounting the Dash Cam
- Choose a suitable location on your car’s windshield to mount the dash cam
- Make sure the surface is clean and free from dirt or dust
- Peel off the adhesive backing on the mount and firmly press it onto the windshield
- Allow the adhesive to set for a few minutes
Step 2: Powering On the Dash Cam
- Connect the dash cam to your car’s cigarette lighter socket using the provided power cable
- Turn on your car’s ignition to provide power to the dash cam
- The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording
Step 3: Recording Videos
- The dash cam has three cameras, providing a wide-angle view of the road
- It records video in HD 1080p resolution
- The video recording starts automatically when you start your car’s engine
- The recorded videos are stored on a memory card (up to 32GB capacity)
Step 4: Using the G-sensor and Motion Detection
- The dash cam has a built-in G-sensor (gravity sensor)
- In case of a serious vehicle collision, the G-sensor will detect it and lock the recording
- The locked recording will not be overwritten during the loop recording
- The motion detection feature helps capture any movement around your parked car
Note:
Always make sure the memory card is properly inserted and has enough free space to store the recordings. Regularly transfer the recordings to a computer for backup.
