How to Use the Samsung N5300 32″ LED 1080p Full HD Smart TV (2018)
Set Up
- Unbox the TV and remove all packaging materials.
- Place the TV on a stable surface or mount it on the wall using a VESA Wall Mount Standard 100mm x 100mm.
- Connect the AC power adapter to the TV and plug it into a power outlet.
- Insert batteries into the remote control provided.
- Turn on the TV by pressing the power button on the remote control or the TV panel.
Initial TV Setup
- Follow the on-screen instructions to select the language, region, and other settings.
- Connect the TV to your Wi-Fi network by selecting the network name and entering the password.
- Once connected, the TV will prompt you to download any available updates. Select “OK” to proceed.
- Agree to the terms and conditions of the Smart TV and app services.

Navigating the Smart TV Menu
- Use the arrow keys on the remote control to navigate through the menu options.
- Press the Enter or OK button to select an option.
- Access the main menu by pressing the Home button on the remote control.
- From the main menu, you can select different apps, input sources, or adjust settings.
Using the Smart TV Features
- To access apps, press the Home button and navigate to the “Apps” section. Select an app to open it.
- Use the built-in web browser to surf the internet by selecting the “Web Browser” app from the Apps section.
- Connect a compatible smartphone to the TV for screen mirroring by selecting the “Screen Mirroring” option in the main menu.
- Control your connected devices using the Samsung Remote Control by selecting the “SmartThings” app from the Apps section.
Adjusting Picture and Sound Settings
- Press the Home button and navigate to the “Settings” section in the main menu.
- Select “Picture” to adjust settings like brightness, contrast, and color.
- Select “Sound” to adjust settings like volume, equalizer, and surround sound.
- Make the desired adjustments using the arrow keys and the Enter or OK button on the remote control.
Connecting External Devices
- To connect HDMI devices, use the HDMI ports on the back of the TV. Connect the HDMI cable from the device to the TV.
- For USB devices, use the USB port on the back of the TV. Connect the USB cable from the device to the TV.
- Connect other audio/video devices using the available input ports like Digital Audio Optical TOSLINK, Ethernet, and Composite.

- Enjoy streaming services like Netflix by selecting the app from the Apps section and logging in with your account.
