This does not play 4K videos. It will get choppy about 3 seconds in and then freeze. The processor is very weak. The fan is very loud and runs constantly. The whole thing is extremely slow. We were going to use these for some deployments as kiosks, digital signage, time clock websites, etc. Basically these are useless unless it’s for your grandma to type emails on. These are not for TVs to watch movies on or theatre systems.

I love this device, We use it as a PC connected to our Roku TV in the living room, and the Projector in the bed room (yes we watch movies in bed, projected on the ceiling)
The Roku can’t surf the web and the projector needs a computer, this little wonder does the trick. It is a full-fledged Windows 10 computer the plugs directly into your HDMI port just like a jump drive plugs into a USB port. I have a wireless keyboard and I am good to go in bed or on the couch.
I will take it with me on my next vacation and plug it into the HDMI port on the TV in the hotel (they all have one).
I would not use it as my primary computer, but it’s great for that ‘extra’ machine you want to move from place to place.

I bought this to control a sports ticker in my mancave. It works flawlessly and tech support walked me right through a tough setting I couldn’t figure out. Highly recommend for an automated fixed display. Also came really quick! Kinda pricey for such a limited use device but I have no regrets.

This is a small factor Windows 10 computer HDMI stick.
Pair a keyboard and mouse and dive into the operation of a regular computer.
Wifi is terrific as long you have one reliable network.
Don’t expect to run as fast as desktop computer, no it won’t do it.
But runs my phone and web browser very well.

First one I had wouldnt power on. Replacement works. Took about 30 mins to finally get it all set and working. I didn’t expect it to run everything I would want, but finding it can’t run many things I want. Can’t seem to load any programs other than Microsoft store stuff. Which apps kind of suck. Its a VERY slimmed done windows 10. I haven’t had a windows based phone, but it seems more like that. Very limited. Also not super fast, but for basic web surfing and some video playback it seems ok. Only into day 2 with it, so hope to learn more and try more. Will report back if other issues come up or figure out other things that make me like it more. But for now it’s ok.

Great PC for the size!

Don’t buy this. I bought this to display a simple website and refresh it from time to time. It’s so sluggish. I then bought another stick with a J4125 processor. It’s so much smoother. Don’t waste your time on this, I wish I didn’t.

I realized that the reviews stating this product was noisy and slow were likely for the less expensive option, and the positive reviews were for the more expensive, higher quality option. Taking this into consideration I purchased the 8GB RAM 128GB stick, and have been pleased. Set up was a little awkward but simple enough. I purchased this to use with a TV, instead of renting a modem from cable. It runs Windows 10, the fan is not loud at all, and it is generally quick and capable of streaming uninterrupted most of the time. I find that you cannot run much at once because even with the 8g of ram this stick will quickly get overloaded if to many processes are running. Occasionally for reasons unknown, it seems to slow and hiccup while streaming, especially on live TV that doesn’t buffer the same way as sites like netflix and youtube do – but this is only occasional and not often enough to be any more of a bother than an XBox hiccup of the same nature.
Overall this stick is great for the price. I’d recommend it for light streaming and web surfing.
