How to Use the Kitchen Food Digital Electron Probe Thermometer Folding Grilled Meat and Fish Baking Thermometer
Step 1: Getting Started
- Remove the digital thermometer from its packaging.
- Make sure the battery is properly installed and has enough power.
Step 2: Unfolding the Probe
- Locate the collapsible folding probe at the end of the thermometer.
- Gently pull the probe straight out until it is fully extended.
Step 3: Turning On and Off
- To turn on the thermometer, press the power button located on the front or side of the device.
- To turn off the thermometer, press and hold the power button for a few seconds, or wait for it to automatically power off after a period of inactivity.
Step 4: Temperature Measurement
- Select the desired unit of temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit) if applicable.
- Insert the probe into the food item you wish to measure the temperature of. Make sure the probe is inserted into the thickest part of the food, away from bones or gristle.
- Wait for a few seconds until the thermometer provides a stable reading, and read the temperature value displayed on the LCD screen.
Step 5: Cleaning and Storage
- After each use, carefully clean the probe with a damp cloth or by rinsing it under running water. Do not submerge the entire thermometer in water as it is not waterproof.
- Dry the probe thoroughly before folding it back into the thermometer for storage.
- Store the thermometer in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
